www.z3roadster.net - Back In Action

After the absence of www.z3roadster.net for a week now, we are pleased to announce it's return, with new added goodness, but first up, we have changed hosting providers, the new ones are fantastic and have bent over backwards to get us running - migrating over 200MB of SQL Server data is not my idea of fun - they dealt with it though and made the whole process a lot easier than it could have been - if anyone is looking for a good fully featured host drop me a line and I'll fill you in, they'll have my hearty recommendation. Over the last week we have made a few changes, moved the site, add some new features and got the correct sub-domains set up for all the curent regions (and a few of the new ones, SC and NY watch out the regional pages are coming your way too), so without further ado here are the new URLS, which are the same as the old ones - or you can use the swanky new subdomain URLS

http://www.z3roadster.net/home_uk/ or http://uk.z3roadster.net

http://www.z3roadster.net/home_southcalifornia/ or http://southcalifornia.z3roadster.net or http://socal.z3roadster.net
http://www.z3roadster.net/home_northcarolina/ or http://northcarolina.z3roadster.net
http://www.z3roadster.net/home_newjersey/ or http://newjersey.z3roadster.net
http://www.z3roadster.net/home_belgium/ or http://belgium.z3roadster.net
http://www.z3roadster.net/home_canada/ or http://canada.z3roadster.net

Plus we have effected a number of changes to the profile system - new fields for you (assuming you are a registered owner) to complete .. most will default to quot;not applicable" until you update your profile - the important change for owners of the higher powered models is that we have split you off, you now have MZ3 Roadster or MZ3 Coupé as your designation - these will have to be updated when you get time - because it affects other things including available colours, available roof fabric colours (coupés are obviously not included in this change) and available engine sizes. So login and update your profile now - or if you don't yet have one - login and create one. One major addition, this was made before the crash, is the inclusion of Z4 designations on the profile system, so if you have friends who own the new beastie in the stable, invite them along to register for a profile - z4roadster.net is coming soon too.

Now this week I intend to get some sleep - but a quick mention to Shawn, Surj and Than, who have all helped in this process, testing and suggesting ideas - cheers guys and gal(!)
