interesting to note that on several z4's at east bay bmw the gap along the hoodline was not uniform. the hood had a small "bump" upwards above the left kidney (facing the front of the car). not easily noticed but once you see it, it stands ou. was present on 3 out of 6 cars in exactly the same place.

met a local z4 guy whose front headlights had different gaps for each side...left side had much larger gaps than right. he had one of the first to arrive...might have been an early issue only.
