Difference with 89-91?

Hey guys im new to the forums and 325's. I'm in the market for a 325i or IS.. I heard that the 89-91 ECU and engine is a bit different from the earlier models.. Whats the difference? I know they have some nicer headlights and the bumper has some minor changes.. All for the better..

I'm buying one just as a daily driver, but it seems it might turn into more than that. These things are light as all hell and fun to drive... Would love to have one of these babies supercharged. What's a supercharger system cost for these things?

Thanks guys.
