316 E30 problems

It's an old car but its nice and I've fallen in love with it....if anybody has the time to cover a few of these problems with solutions for me I would be at worlds end grateful,

Thank you;

-Powers 1, 2 and 3 not working on heater
-Low beam headlights are far too low
-Front fog lights not working - replaced all fuses with new ones still no luck
-Speedo not working
-Left electronic window mirror not working
-Reversing lights not working
-Cleaning the engine - any ideas on the best method or what products to use??

reverse lights is probably reverse switch in tranny or bad connection on bulbs.for heater see your other post!

1. Have aftermarket stereo? May have disconnected switch. Id pull the panel check for power to the switch. Otherwise maybe bad fan motor.

2. There are white plastic adjuster on the back of your headlights to adjust aim.Pull up to a wall or garage door to aim your lights.

3. Most likely a bad switch. a test light is invaluable for electrics and you'll need it for your heater switch.

4. Speed sensor in rear diff is probably rusty.

6. Dont know what products you have over there, but I use Simple Green. Biodegradeable, good sh!t.
