BMW X4 crossover coupe anyone?

http://www.worldcarfans.com/6070807....ule-spy-photos

Guess it's a sexier version of the X3, like the X6 is a sexier version of the X5?

EDIT: it kind of looks like an Audi Allroad treatment to the 3 series wagon.

You should be banned for calling an X series sexy.

They are okay, fine, sure.. sexy? Thats asking for trouble. Dont care if its a BMW, it's still a sucky SUV.

That being said, I'm not so sure about BMW's expansion of their model lineup. I certainly don't hope they become like lexus & mercedes in that aspect. Sure its a business like any other, but when you focus on quantity, the quality tends to suffer.

I agree the X4 looks much more "normal" than the X6 - a very odd profile for the X6, not sure how that will work. The X4 could easily pass for the next generation X3 - not sure how they will differentiate between X3 and X4.

LOL disclaimer: 'sexier' loosely defined and used for relative purposes between X vehicles only.

Are you joking? The E53 X5 4.8is is amazing. We have an 05 3.0 and it certainly isn't a "sucky SUV." Hyundais and Fords are sucky SUVs --- not Bimmers.

And Lexus doesn't have nearly the model lineup Mercedes has. IIRC, they make far less vehicles than BMW.

There were some shots of the "X3" mule on StraightLine sometime back:

http://blogs.edmunds.com/Straightline/2983

Notice, in the second photo, that it still says 330xi on the back. From the discussion, it seems to be a 3-series wagon (http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/3/328...swagon/default) that they've widebodied to turn it into an engine +/- transmission +/- suspension mule for the upcoming X_.

Probably usual suspects. (See, X3 line-up)

Looks like a 3-series slammed into a Dodge Magnum.

I hate the redesign on the CRV and this is too similar IMHO, looks like someone dropped some machinery on the back and it was squished, looks similar to the Dodge Caliber in general shape

AA,

LOL guess we were thinking the same thing, looks like a Dodge
