Has anyone pulled the windows out of the driver or passenger doors? I can't figure it out and there's nothing in the TIS to help.

Thanks, Ron. Sometimes they make you work for it, don't they?
![]() I got it eventually. Here's a summary how-to: A pair of sliders are attached to the bottom of the window. They slide in a pair of c-shaped channels on the regulator (4-bar mechanism that lifts the window). Each slider is held in place with a pin. Roll the window up a bit (3-4") to gain access to those pins - they are on the back side of the slider. Pull them. Now slide the window freely in the channel until the guides come out and remove the window. Piece of cake once you know how. Trouble for me was getting the window to roll out. Since my entire interior is gutted the window switch wasn't working. I ended up just jumpering 12v off the battery to the pins in the door harness connector. Bingo. |
