E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Question fuse burnout number10

my number 10 fuse keeps on burning out, it started lst week i had th ac running then all of a sudden within an hour of driving my tachometer, temp gauge, fuel gauge and ac all shut off.. i replaced the fuse and it was working 4 two days then shut off again, within the past couple days i went through 10 7.5amp fuses?? what could be wrong?

There is a wiring harness that plugs into the reverse switch on the transmission. Over time, the wiring harness insulation will wear thin, since it's positioned between the shifter boot and the transmission hump. The edge of the metal with wear through the wiring, thus, shorting the harness to ground.

It is located on top of the gearbox. If you remove the shifter boot, you will see the wiring harness near the shifter.
