Unhappy Question about my 328i AC! Help, Help!

I have a 96 328i, and some time my AC is not working, some time its working.
when its not working, under the driver seat it blow Hot air into the car.
Question, Why is my AC acting up weird? And why did the Hot air blow in when AC is not working.

Thank you

Fuzzy

Welcome to the fest

The AC is for cold air mate, not hot.....

I would get your final stage resistor (hedgehog) checked out. Common E36 issue

What my question is, is why isn't there some general IQ test to allow or restrict certain people access to the internet?

I have the same issue.
I honestly don't use the A/C, I just roll the windows down, and tilt the sunroof.
But when the grlz are with u, u know how they have to have their A/C.

Did you ever get this fixed?? Im having the same problem. My A/C sometimes works and sometimes the lights in the a/c control come on really dim but it doesnt work. I dont know whats wrong. The mechanic couldn't figure it out. He things its the actual control unit thats messed up and wants me to replace the whole a/c control unit (the controls you use to turn it off and on and control temp).

So did that work for you?

it sound like you have the wiring problem. Check all the connectors and ground first.
