looks AWSOME jarozila. Also boys if u havent noticed, jarozila installed lights underneath the dash where your feet goes. (footwell, what ever its called)

The leather door inserts took them a day. They also had to re-pad one side of the drivers seat - on the bottom cushion the rasied portion that is next to your hip facing the door. The padding was quite soft and when you pushed down on it - during exiting, the leather came into contect with something hard. I was told this is very common in these seats even on E46s as well as E36s. If not fixed a hole gets worn into the leather.

I got the seats a few months back, had the wheel put on last week, and the cards done this week just gone.

When I got the seats I put them in, but I had the sterring wheel put on at a independent BMW workshop as the SRS light needs to be reset. Given that an airbag is involved I wanted it done with no faults.

I was considering this a couple of months back but was put of by the trim on the doors. If I'm going to do it it has to be right, or I wont do it at all.

Now that I know that I should be able to do the doors in a weekend I am putting this on the list of things to do.

What what I gather footwell lights were not standard in Australian delivered E36s. I know someone here who has a late model E36 M3 and that car does not have footwell lights.

I had seen it in some pictures and really wanted them. I bought some lights from BMW and worked out the best way to wire them up so that they work with the dome light.One of the best DIY projects I have done in my car.

Cool, in that case nicely done, it is the small things that make a really nice finished car...dunno why but footlights are just a nice addition to have..i hate it when i have to do anything to the mrs car as she aint got them..

Very very nicely done ! And you got some good seats, no Timberland marks on the rear's or wear on the fronts !

I'm looking forward to doing this on my E46. Searching for one in a junkyard to take out a steering wheel, set of leather seats and maby interior wood trim if available.
