E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

How to????
Hi

How do you find out that your ECU is faulty my car is 1985 318i M10 any ideas, and if it is how do u find the right type of the ECU

there is a guy in Tulsa trying to sell a beat up 84 318i that needs a fuel pump and fronts seat to be driveable. It ain't pretty though.
But for $200 beggars can't be choosers.

Take the fuel pump and a front seat and taillight from your and drive it back.
