Manual Driver Sear Recliner Mech
My driver side front seat now reclines whenever I get in the car. It's a manual mechanism and I think the locking gears are stripped. Does anyone know if these can be repaired or am I going to be stuck buying a complete seat replacement. Right now it's a little unsafe to drive the car as the seat can flop backwards if I hit a bump or accelerate to quickly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks...

  I think you need a seat replacement although an upholstry shop may have a method of repairing it
