![]() In the upper right, you will find the word "search". Click on it and try various combination of bumper, plastic, and conversion. Its been done before. Most people with metal bumpers just do a "bumper tuck" instead.

A bumper tuck is where the diving board bumper's (like on your 3325e) shock absorbers are modified (I think) so that the bumpers don't stick out so far. If I had an early E30, that's what I'd do, instead of the expense to convert to plastic bumpers.

you need to take the bumper out and the bumper shocks and drill a hole and drain it.

the front is a breeze. the back requires some plastic surgery.
