Broken front undertray

When I was installing a new front sway bar today I noticed that the frontmost plastic undertray was very loose and in fact had almost broken of fat one of it's monting points (I guess victim of an autocross cone or L.I.E. detritus). when I removed it I was surprised to see that there is second complex piece thet fits up behind the radiator. I presume it must divert some hot air away from the engine compartment. Cool to see the thought given to these details even though it would be nice if it had been made a little more sturdy. Speaking of engineering details, we changed the bar on a friend's e46 M3 and the undertray is really cool on that car, more fully sealed and with two real NACA ducts under the car. Nice.

So for you guys with the parts CD can you give me info on the front undertray assembly of an 01 coupe? thank you in advance

mine doesnt quite look like that, there is another piece that looks kinda like an F1 wing that is screwed onto, I guess, part 2 in the diagram. it attaches to the three central screw holes visible in the drawing.

Thank you for the info!
