so does the cd holder just slide out? Do you guys keep it there or have you removed it? I figured the extra space w/it removed would be a plus

the cd holder in the center console can be removed by grabbing the top and pushing it to the left. it should angle out like this \ then u can pick it up to remove it.

its hidden, but its a snap type of "button" that will hide easily... its right above the switch to control air into the center console... you most likely will not see it, just push around with your hands and you'll eventually find it...

Must be a pre '07 thing. I just went out and looked. Above my air vent control is the Aux input.

You don't have it. I had an 07 750Li for a rental and I noticed that it doesn't have it.

I just did that. Now I can put a small box of kleenex in it.

My service guy is the best. He gave me a M6 last week while my car was in for a few hours for brakes and an oil change. I had it for about 4 hours and man were they fun!!! Indy red on black coupe

lol, he loves the fact that I'm the youngest guy that goes into the service center with a e66 so he jokes with me all day and gives me whatever i need. I would hate myself if I were you too lol. The only time I had a 3-series loaner is when I wanted to drive the new 335i convertible when it came out.

so i like having the gauges off but I don't like having to hold the two buttons down every time I turn the car off and back on - is there anyway to make them stay off unless I want them on? thanks

My service guy used to be like that, but my dealership has gone to hell in a hand basket since I last bought a car there. I would be hard pressed to buy another one from them.
