E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Insideline's M-comparison

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...hotopanel..1.*

Hey all,

If you haven't read it, Edmunds did a review of the various M cars to pick a winner. M1, e30 M3, e39 M5, e46 M3 CSL, and e92 M3 were the competitors.

Just FYI, they say that the "1986 M3 has a turbocharged 2.5 liter inline 4 engine that produced a peak 235 HP in the 1990 evolution version."

I e-mailed insideline asking them to correct this statement

Joe
