how to improve
is there anyway to get an automatic 325i E30 to take off a little quicker. i can use the brakes and give it some gas but i dont like doing that...are there any upgrades that help?

youll be fine as long as if youre doing brake stalls. if you do neutral drops, then youll be needing to look for a replacement tranny and other parts

You shouldn't have asked that question.
 Everyone will tell you a five speed. I have an auto. In my opinion it's a terrible trans, at least mine is. It doesn't like first gear and loves to up shift. Oh ya it doesn't like reverse either. When it finally dies I might put a 5 speed in, but the wife likes the auto.

I like my transmission all gears shift perfect and the 4.10 LSD definitley adds some kick. as long as there's a turn in the race ill win. I think ill just do some more weight reduction. so far ive removed about 50lbs

remove all seats put in an aluminium racing drivers seat, that will cut maybe 100 lbs.

dude!!!, lose the bosch +4s they're garbage if your engine ain't heavily modified. Go with the +2's. they'll do the same thing for cheaper!!!

okay okay, ill change them next i need to.....my car used to take a while to start with normal spark plugs(new) so i put the +4's and it fixed the problem
