seriously? did you really just ask that question?

Long Beach Convention Center. or LA Convention Center? I would see those being premier for Bimmerfest to be on a Grand Scale. if your talking about 2,000 + cars not many places can hold a event like that.(besides Vegas).

In the LA you could use South Hall Upper which has a total of 350,000 sqft. they divide in to 4 sections of like 90,000 sqft

or Peterson Museum

SB is where it got started, but now I am assuming that Fest has no association with Cutter or its subsequent owners SB BMW (?), it makes sense to locate it where the biggest concentration of BMWs are, SoCa. I'm not sure that Fest can sustain an event for more than a day, so LV is out.

Doesn't matter where or when....... I wouldn't miss it. I've been twice and Jon's been putting together great events! I can't wait until next year to see all the new M3 V8's........... I hope to have one by then. There's a good charity that gets supported from some of the proceeds. My hat's off to Jon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that the original poster has come to the realization that he's not in charge here and has departed this site in a huff, I'm guessing we're back on for SB next year...

I vote for Vegas. My buddies and I were out there this past weekend with our M3s and boy was it fun. Here's a photo from the parking lot of Rio. It would totally be wicked to be partying in Vegas and see many fanatics as well. **Mental Note** Ignore the date stamped on the first photo. My buddy didn't know how to adjust the date and time on his digital camera.

There is some value in staying in SB since it's a nice drive along the coast and away from LA. The coordination of the caravan brings a lot of festers together. It is always impressive to see hundreds of BMW along the freeway at the same time.

I am all for BimmerFest 2008 in Vegas. I heard from the grapevine up here in WA that it was going to be in Vegas in 2008 and I got real excited for it. it's Vegas people will make the drive.

1. Vegas sucks
2. Nobody wants to make that drive from CA, it's hellish and half the group will get arrested.
3. It's hot
4. It takes an idiot to want to wait in a 2 hour line to overpay for a pretentious club in vegas, so the party scene sucks
5. Vegas sucks.
