Klasse & Collinite Detail

My Black Saphire 2003 X5 is in decent shape, paintwise--just purchased it as a "BMW Cerfified." There are, however, some small scratches and swirls, and the hood could use some claying... Also want to give it long-term protection, as it is parked outside and I live in the Northeast (thus, the Klasse/Collinite combo...)

Here's what I'm thinking:

Wash (Megs Gold Soap or Dawn?)
Clay (Megs Clay/Quick Detail for Lubrication on hood and roof)
Scratch Removal (Megs Scratch X in a few spots--by hand)
Klasse All In One (apply by hand with microfiber spong/remove with microfiber cloth)
Collinate Insulator Wax (apply by hand with sponge/buff with orbital/micro fiber bonnet)

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... My only thought is that I'm not going to get enough of a "polish" effect from the Klasse... Should I use a cleaner and or polish beforehand (and do this before or after the claying)? And I'm wondering if I should use Dawn to wash to car--versus the Megs (and then use the Megs for maintanence...)
