Thank for the update on the Bentley Repair Manual for the 97 thru 02 5 series, Bavarian autosport has the manual on sell for $116.00 plus shipping.

Can't seem to find it on Bavarian Autosport. Many places seem out of stock.Did these go out of print by Bentley?

I just ordered the Bentley E39 manuals from one of the site sponsors http://www.oembimmerparts.com/ for $129 with no shipping nor taxes. Amazon.com sellers want list price $170 or higher.
Bentley Publishers still offers it on their website (http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=B502), but I'm not holding my breath that it will be re-printed any time soon.

Rather, I think we are the chosen few who attempt to fix our cars with the assistance of a service manual.
On Bentley's website, they still carry the BMW 2002 Restoration Guide: 1968-1976. My cousin had a Gold '75 2002tii. Now that was a fun car! If this is an indication of Bentley's business model, our E39 manuals should still be available at least through 2034.

You have to check this out prior to spending any money. It the BMW/TIS and its on line
http://tis.spaghetticoder.org I had spent money to purchase my own copy... then today I found this!!! The on-line version is even better
