That looks AWESOME! I bet that thing shakes the very ground! I'd like to do something similar, but I have the fold down seats. Are your boxes sealed or did you use the back of the back seat as the other side of the box? BTW, how did you secure it to the car?

When I saw your last thread I was a bit worried, but DAMN! Looks great.

I do think you'll get some odd wave patterns with all the subs firing into the same small cube area, but oh well. Still looks pretty kick ass.

thanks
i used the back of the seats as the box
i have got to fine tune the sound by putting loft insulation behind
little trick i learnt
to secure it i put the back in place then the sides then just built a frame around it
when the front sides were put on it all pulled together with screws/sealant
all in all for the bits it only cost about £35 gbp to build
good luck and hope to see some pics if ya go for it

thanks phantom
still fine tuning the amount of air space behind the subs
i like it tight and punchy
i use loft insulation to get the air space right

Yeah, me too. I don't like "bandpass" boxes (the ones with the 2nd fiberglassed chamber) for that reason, too much resonance. What I was saying though is that all 3 subs fire into each other. It seems like that would distort the clarity of them.

His car, his lights, his prerogative.

I really wish people would stop giving their opinions on things when their opinion was not asked for, especially when it's to proclaim their dislike for something. This thread wasn't called "hey, I got some new tail lights, what do you think?"

i really wish people wouldn't install these rice taillights on e36-s, so other people couldn't comment on them! if someone want's to own a lexus, they should buy it, not ruin the looks of bmw-s.
it's a free world anyway, so if he wants to keep the lights, he must get used to the normal people who don't like this kind of p0rn on the e36.
i also commented the speakers, so i didn't start the offtopic (if anyone claims it)
