auto-h button 2008

I have a couple at my dealership and everyone is discussing back and forth what it is for. I have seen it on X5's with sport, and I think one without it. And I also believe only on 4.8's. I think its for when you are towing something it would adjust the ride height. I am going to take a picture of the next one i see. It's right next to the parking brake button.

Its the auto brake function as you get on the 7 series. Basically when this button is applied when you come to a halt say at a set of lights and the car is stationary the brake automatically applies and you can take your foot off the pedals the car will not move until you apply the accelerator again.

I had it on my 7 its a great feature except when your manouvering in say a car park IE reversing back and forth, then you need to disengage it.
