E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

told ya they'll cost a ton . I think the 135i should cost similar money to Audi TT 3 litre V6, or Audi S3. What do they go for in US?

starting price for the 135i is 57000 CHF in Switzerland

Same price as a loaded 2007 350Z.

I don't think it's too bad.

That number is absurd for even the M1- assuming they will sell one. I won't even consider a new 135(U.S.) if it's over $36 grand when I can get a low mileage e46 M3 for the same price.

the 128i Coupe could go for approx $37,900 Cdn (if the pricing ratio of the 135i to the 128i is comparable to the pricing ratio of 335i to the 328i coupe).
But then, the 135i comes with the M sport package (front end treatment etc) and other neat stuff that the 128i doesn't have, so I would expect the delta between the 135i & 128i to be greater than that between the 335i & 328i coupes).
So, the price of the 128i should be closer to $35K Cdn.

$44,990 sounds about right. This is what BMW Canada told Autobahn Report earlier this year.

At today's exchange rate, that'd be equal to approx $49,000 USD (before taxes), which is approx $14K GT than the expected U.S. 135i MSRP of $35K USD.
BMW Canada can't seriously be thinking along those lines can they?
If so, I'll have to look at other options
