Selling a classic

well, I finally have to give up my vintage, 1969 BMW 1602.

It's been super fun driving this car just because of all the interaction it causes. My efforts to restore it have failed and the engine is shot. I'm not entirely sure if I threw a rod or what happened, but I ended up with a nice hole in the engine block.

Thus, she's for sale.

I've had a lot of work done on it, and was getting ready to move on to the cosmetics but can no longer put the required money into this.

It has new brakes, shocks, struts, cv joints, boots; lots of new parts underneath.
I also have a few parts I won on ebay including a dome light and instrument cluster.

It doesn't run, but I need to sell it fast. I'm asking $2,000 but am accepting offers.

You will need to pick it up. I live in Venice, CA. Drop me a line and make me an offer.

Thanks.
