E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Coverage of 135i at LA Autoshow 2007

BMW had an amazing display booth, I was really disappointed that we couldn't sit in the 1er though

Overall shape looks GREAT in person. Very similar in dimensions to my current E46, despite the sticker shock, it's still a very viable option.

I hope BMW brings these brakes to the 135...BMW brakes tend to lack aesthetics.

Pretty slick black exhaust pipes.

One of the first mods I would do is to remove these nasty amber reflectors.

That's the only issue, I am all for getting this car but I need to get over the sticker shock.

The 135i has officially grown on me, I like it a lot. The 135i looks like a blend of the old and new age BMW styling. +1

Got to love those black calipers with BMW logos, +1,000 on the Brembos

Am I reading the sticker right that it is $35,675 as equipped? It is expensive but it is completely optioned with Nav, HD, SAT., I-pod, 300 hp, bluethooth, comfort access and the most expensive option of all - Boston leather(you know how expensive that east coast leather costs) etc. I am not sure but much better than those small Lexus.

$35,675 is the base price with destination. Option pricing can be found at http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=244192

35k base...options are spelled out in my post above

I figure with the options I want, about 43k. This really screws up my decision come summer/fall...I can get an E92 335i for almost the same price/lease payment.

I hear that in Los Angeles, people steal tires and rims off cars. Should I be worried with these rims? I don't see any locks on them, although, I don't know how effective lock bolts are. Can anyone who have them give me your input? Thanks.

Nobody would want to steal those heavy rims unless you park the car outside overnight some where in Firestone area

I can see the Bridgestone Logo on the tire but can see the type of tire they used though

They are obviously RE050A RFT. Can't you tell by the tread pattern?
