Question Help Finding seat tensioner connector

Haven't been able to find the part number for the crappy little red connector that connects the seat tensioner to the harness under the seat. I Checked the parts cd but can't find it. Anyone help?

Check group 61, diagram 61_1280.
Item 2 is the universal (uncoded) 3 pin Female
Item 3 is the universal (uncoded) 3 pin Male

Coded makes the connector unique so that only its mate will plug into it.
The uncoded connectors (what you can buy) will plug into a coded connector.
Just order the part numbers from diagram 61_1280 for the type of three pin connector you are looking for.

I don't have any part numbers on my computer. The fields are blank for P/N's. I only have pictures.

Click on number 2 or 3 in the pic and the numbers will appear.

Ok, thanks. Haven't had to do that before.

I am using the Peak tool for SRS reset and troublshooting of the SRS light I keep getting. The tool is calling for a fault code table not listed on their doc's. Dan is trying to find out why. I think I am on to some of the problem. I found one of these little connectors cracked. I think its intermittent. I go to the parts guy tomorrow and see if he's got some.

Does the SRS tool work?
Dan has yet to send me one for evaluation.

I asked him that and he said they did all their testing. (?) His technical guy is working on a similar year coupe to troubleshoot the problem. Will keep you posted.

The way the tool works is as follows:

First it reads if there is a fault and displays the fault code table to use from their document supplied.

Second it tells you the first fault code then the scond etc.

I am getting a code table 38,, No table 38 in the doc. (I used table 40 because it looked like the right one.) The fault code lead me to the drivers seat tensioner. The connector is cracked, and I suspect its intermittent. I played with it and that code did go away.

So finally I get to the answer, I think it will work but I still have to fix the faults before I can reset the light.

Jury is out on tool.
