Check your paper work closely to see if it is there. Look at the cost cap reduction number and/or the total drive off to see if there is $2500. you didn't pay. That rebate should be accounted for. My dealer just posted a big internet ad that they were extending the rebate on the '07s. That is just wrong if the dealer didn't mention it although 1 dealer I went to played dumb at first. I would call the dealer and ask them to account for the rebate. You should take $2500. off the agreed upon price and they should redo the paper work. They should not be able to put an extra $2500. in their pocket. It is one thing if they do it through negotiation but quite another if they just hide (steal) it.

Did you get an 3.0 or or 4.8. The 4.8 rebate is $3000.

Newbie needs a little help with deal.

Hi guys. I came back from looking at a nearby dealer and found this great website. So from what I'm reading i should be able to get and X5 4.8i for about $1,000 over cost. If I can get the low interest rates (money factor) that I have read on here, I will strike a deal tomorrow.

A few questions for now: OLP is available to a first time buyer? Do you guys think that the deals are probably (your feeling) better now for the X5 than usual?

Finally, how have you first time users coped with I-drive.

Thx.

OLP stands for owner loyalty program, so no....Not for a first time buyer.

Thumbs up

Yes, you should be able to get it around $1000 over dealer cost. I would talk with several dealers if you have troube getting there.
Good Luck!
