Z4 and Beemer Related

OK, if you aren't into motorcycles or Z4s or doing mods yourself, this post probably will not interest you.

Stock oil coller on R1150R:


Z4 side turn signal integrated into oil cooler:


Stock turn signals deleted and replaced with PIAA driving lights:


More mods (of which I am envious):

Single can deleted and rpelaced with twin cans, like R1100S. Note charcoal canister deleted.

working on Erik's XR100. While my shoulder is f-ed up...

Anyway, today's mod was the "Big Gun" Racing Exhaust.
Notice the "stepped" design of the headpipe...

There is something "therapeutic", a quality about working
on stuff.

Something to relieve my chronic condition of "bimmerstressed".

The silencer really is a "Big Gun"!

Last wednesday it was the Renthal bars.

That's a pretty big can for a 100! Nice. I went to the local Beemership today at lunch to see the new twin-spark models. A guy with a Dakar Yellow R like mine had a Remus cat eliminator (Y-pipe) and a Remus can. I sorta like the typical BMW Boxer sound, but the Remus sounded pretty nice too.

Looks good. Much better than they do on the Z4.
Finalized the design for the Z4 like Z3 non-M side gill last night.
It won't look stuck on.

I'm going to do this mod eventually on the R bike. I need to find part numbers of clear Z4 side signals. Would prefer those to ambers if possible.
