2008 X5 3.0 si delivered Saturday

So, we took delivery of our new X5 on Saturday. We love it even more than we had expected. Really a great vehicle and a big step up in quality, ride, handling, etc. from our 2003 Honda Pilot. Here's the configuration and the deal:

Jet Black
Tobacco Leather/Dark Bamboo (beautiful combination)
Cold Weather Package
Premium Package
Rear Climate Package
Comfort Access System
Park Distance Control
iPod and USB Adapter
HD Radio

MSRP 53,675
Sales Price 51,755 ($49375 invoice + $1000 profit + $180 Training Fee + $200 MACO + $1000 Trailer Hitch)

Lease Details
36 months
10,000 miles per year
Residual 61% + $300 for trailer hitch
MF 0.00121 (0.00270 Base MF - 0.0010 OLP - 0.00049 MSD)
Monthly Payment $688.07 (includes 10% DC tax on monthly lease payment)

We could not be happier with the car or the deal.

I just mounted our Garmin Nuvi 680 using a ProClip mount and it looks and works great. We decided to forgo the BMW navigation system since the Garmin offers so many more features than the BMW system I have in my 2007 530i.

Next stop, Munich! We're picking up a 2008 528i to replace the 530i, which is coming off lease on April 13. Our pickup date is March 22.

Very nice indeed. I really like the black / tobacco combo. I was looking at an O8 optioned similar to yours and then found my 07. As you can see I have Alpine / Tobacco drk burl and am very happy with X5. Almost everytime my wife gets in it she mentions how much she loves the X5. Enjoy and let us see some pics.

The OLP was effective in December. I don't think its still available. We ordered in December to take advantage of this great deal.
