Lance, Thanks for developing this window repair kit. I fixed the window on my '97 528i yesterday, and it works-just like a real window!
The original window slide on mine was bent and twisted, but after some filing with a Dremel, your kit fit, and it worked great. I did find that the larger Torx bolt on my window was a #30, and I used a 2" wide plaster spatula to pop off the door panel-it worked more easily than a flat blade screwdriver.
