New Z4 track photos and interior shots shows DCT! (10/14/08)

Just wanted to keep you all updated. I showed the link to pics of the red Z4 with even less cover up swirls. Here is some new shots with the interior shown.

I wonder if the black windshield surround is part of the camouflage, or if that will be a production finish? I'm actually really looking forward to seeing this car. One drove by on PCH here a few months ago in full camo, but I didn't have a camera. It seemed to be a bigger car than the Z4, not 6er bulky, but longer than the Z4.

I didn't really care for the Z3 or Z4 until the coupe versions of both came out, but this shows promise in roadster form. The interior looks like it might have some of the Z8 touches, hopefully it won't have the center mounted instruments though!

Still hate the side mirrors, the interior looks more driver orientate, just like it should be.
I never liked the single bar, going across in the Z4. Never understood it.

The dash in the current Z4 was meant to mimic the classic dash designs of the 1920's - 30's sports cars and boats.

In that context it makes sense, but it may not appeal to those looking for a driver oriented dash.

Personally I liked it, but both approaches are fine with me.

Okay....still not my cup of tea for the interior of the current Z4. Or exterior for that matter...but that is just me.
It still one hell of a handling car.
