E28 535i for sale, enthusiast only.

Hello All!

I wondered if you guys are interested in a classic E28 with all Service Records. I have a 1988 535is that has had a lot of things recently done to it, and currently has 197k (I have all Service Records since new). I am about $5k in this car and I have only had this car since August. It is Grey on Blue Leather (some cracks in leather, paint is faded on roof), Dinan Chip (215hp), BBS Wheels, new tints/exhaust. If anyone is interested, I will definately give them a terrific price only if they will take great care of it. It was owned by a BMW Tech until I purchased it. Contact me for more info, I work at BMW Dealer in Bay Area (San Rafael). I do not want to let it go , but nowhere to park it since I just got an E90 325i. I just uploaded some detailed pics, hopefully that explains the condition. I really was going to ask $3,500 (that's what I paid in July and I have done a lot of work) but I think $3k is fair since I have seen absolutely no IS models on the net. i love how low!

I thought this car needed some TLC since I have not driven it in a while (it's been raining)... Nope! This car is solid, doesn't use any oil at all. I shouldn't even be selling it, especially in this economy. I really am going to have a hard time parting with it.

This is a bad market for a classic car, but I just want the person who buys it to know what they are getting. There are none on the net right now! People must be throwing a cover on them until the economic situation gets better, or until summer.
