After reading this great forum unregistered for a while, it was time to join!

I'm from Rotterdam, the great harborcity of Holland.

Always been a great petrolhead, and together with my brother, we have owned a lot of Euro cars:

• Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 Automatic LPG '94 (trade in)
• Mercedes 300CE Automatic LPG '89
• Audi S2 Avant '93
• Suzuki Alto '89 (good car, bought it for Eur. 75,-)
• Mercedes 300E '86 LPG (full E500 widebody, interior and suspension, still here!)
• BMW e34 530iA V8 '92
• Audi Coupe 2.0 '90 (breaking it for parts)
• Audi Coupe S2 '90 (sold in parts)

My main hobby is the Audi S2 that I have. My brother also has a S2, and together we run the S2 community in the Netherlands, take a look at www.s2power.com That's our site.

Since I was a 15 years old, I always wanted a e34 M5 Touring. But a drive in a Coupe Quattro changed that for about 10 years.

In 2006 we got a trade-in e34 530i with the V8 engine, and the fire was lit again!

I was still driving my Merc and had to put 2 dogs on the special 2 person sportseats in the back of it. Not great for the leather, unspite the use of blankets and things.

So I take a look at the German occasionsites, and found a nice '95 540i Touring.

We went to the car in Germany, and bought it! We have imported it in the Netherlands in the end of September 2008, and now already drove 9000 km with it. Great car.

Fuel consumption on the highway is very good. In the city, it looks like it's more thirstier than a Concorde. Only reach 450km on a full tank in a 50-50 (highway/city) use.







Nice options like: leather, aircon, elec. roof, xenon, cruise control etc.

The picture is with the wintertyres. For the summer I have bought a set of 17" Alpina look wheels with nice Michelins on it.

For the music and satnav I have placed a 1din radio/dvd/satnav combo with 7 inch touchscreen.

For the engine music I've laid my hands on a Hartge exhaust system, with mid silencer and a rearbox.



I have some questions about some technical issues, so I thought it would be nice to introduce myself.

And can't help it, but have to place a few pics of my other cars.
