I was going on a one way street at 1am pitch black outside and a newer SUV explorer pulled out in front of me from behind bushes n **** near a house with no lights on I swerved out of the way as fast as I could and hit a oak tree and held my friends jaw together with the bone stickin out, his fault for not wearing a seatbelt and I didn't get sued or anything because it was his fault for being hurt in the accident. I got out of it with a bruise and a seatbelt burn. And of course a completly totaled BMW 7-series. Cops says "your lucky you were driving that car if you were in another car such as a honda you'd be dead".
I know how you feel. Plus I didn't have full coverage at the time so I spent cash wasn't making payments thank god but lost it all.

Yeah the cop told me, 99/100 ppl are dead in the crash I was in.

I only go on bimmerfest mostly when I'm at work and right now... I'm at work lol.
Oh yeah and when I got out the first thing I checked was if i was bleeding and grabed my goods to make sure they were ok.

HAHA just wonderin, most of my posts occur when Im at work myself. But wen you see one @ 330 am haha Im high and sufrin the fest hahahahaha.

question out of curiosity if you are leasing your car and you total it do you still have to pay off the car in full? or does your insurance cover it? i have always wondered that

Depends on if you have full coverage or not. I didn't have full coverage on the 7-series and i totald it and got no money back but I payed cash so I didn't have to make any payments.
If you finance or lease a car and total it without full coverage or no insuracne you still have to make the payments on a totaled car that doesn't exist.
If you also total a car with no license *cough cough nudge nudge* with full coverage you aren't covered because your driving with no license.

nah i was just curious to those who lease a car thats it. any way umm yea im gonna get going finally like i have said for the last 3 hours....have a great weekend everyone! hate to argue with you but we will carry this convo on later, grats when i was 15 totaled car and i was magically covered grats loop hole shady man found.

I know you didn't total a car at 15. But in regards to that whoever did the reason why they got the money for the car is because at 15 your underage and you don't have a license. So technically its car theft which is covered by full coverage insurance and then you press no charges against the 15 year old.

Jake what camera/lens/shutter speed are you using. It usually saves in the properties in your photobucket pics

Well, i was extremely suprised with my camera. It is NOT a DSLR. It's a 7.2MP sony cybershot. i had a tripod and was using auto program i think

actually if you go to where your pics are stored and right click the image file it will show you the picture info:

the only way to get the V2's to show up at night without looking like a blurry mess is to manually set the aperture all the way down, put it on the tripod and set the shutter speed as fast as possible. I haven't gone to the trouble yet.

I was referring to night pics where they actually look like rings instead of headlights. You can clearly see Umnitza's night pics are prob done with an DSLR with F/22 and shutter speed at 1/2000.

yeah, but that's almost $1k better spent elsewhere IMHO, esp since the beast will need a new clutch in the next year or so : )


Edit: I see you are referring to the exterior trim, I thought you were referring to replacing my awesome wood paneling interior, replacing that is pricey for sure although it could be covered with some existing 3M stuff I already have.......maybe eventually.

The exterior trim I would want to do it right and that involves uninstalling them - which looks like a major time consuming PITA since you have to take the door apart.
