Who here is a member of the BMWCCA?

I joined BMWCCA just before I bought my E60 last year. Wanted to read the magazine and learn more about the events and benefits that go along with it. I have not yet participated in the events, but love the Magazine, disounts, etc. I figured as long as I was going to be a BMW owner, I might as well add the BMWCCA membership as part of the experience. I'm glad I did. The DC Area is active with DIY Clinics and I hope to participate there when Warranty and Service are no longer provided by BMW.

I've been a member since 1980 with a little 20 year gap from '83 to '03 when I went to different car marques. I've never been to any events because I've always lived out in the sticks.

I too am a member of the BMWCCA. I also enjoy the Roundle mag. Been to autox event and to Limerock Park thanks to one of our club meetings.

Member since 2000. Did a track event & autocross in 2001 - nothing since. Just enjoying Roundel & the membership reward rebates

I belong to two chapters ( Patroon and Genessee Valley in upstate NY).

Joined before I owned a BMW because they both run excellent HPDE's at Watkins Glen and welcome my Porsche and I.

Membership in BMWCCA result in DE discounts that offset the dues and priority in getting in to the DE's.

As an added benefit the people in both chapters are wonderful to know.

Roundel is not bad either, every copy is placed in my "study" within arms length of the throne.

I just became a member right before i bought my e90; wished it was more publicized as i would have become a member earlier. since i am in a small state our chapter is terrible... or at least has been... i know because we have been in probation, and just recently a whole new board volunteered and bought us sometime; we are trying to comply with the rules now. i am fairly close to 2 other chapters but not close enough... i heard the NH chapter is one of the best in the northeast, while the one in upstate NY is also very good.

i heave heard good things, it is not extremely far but still fairly far at approx 3 hrs each way. in the 3 hour range i could go to all of NH, some of ME, down to Boston, and Hartford, CT. lots of choices in that range, i was hoping for something shorter, but if my local chapter bites the dust then i might have to do that. our first get together is in a couple of weeks, and it is a block form my house at the only BMW dealership in the state.

thanks for the invite anyway... i do a lot of driving south bound so maybe a weekend i'll make a scheduled stop at on of your events.
