Digs @ BMW in Super Bowl commercials
Did anyone notice that, by my count, TWO separate commercials made fun of BMW. The first one was for an Audi A6, and was subtle, implying that BMW was the cool car back in the 80's. The second one was for the Hyundai Genesis, and it showed an executive railing in German about the Genesis getting "car of the year" by god knows who.
Of course, by showing this they're showing they know where the benchmark is. Still interesting though. Where there any others?

Nope, that was it. And I thought they were funny, esp. the billboard crashed through (MIAMI MOUSSE) and the two BMW boardmembers looking at each other quizzically.
I must say, the supercharged A6 driving makes me want to go and thrash one on a test drive... :-)

Actually, the Genesis looks pretty sweet to me. I have owned Hyundai in the past and they are very good cars.
My E39 is getting old and I was considering the upgrade to E60 but, to be honest with you, the E60 has never actually grown on me so, I wouldn't hesitate to switch back to Hyundai while I wait for the new BMW models to get completely "De-Bangle-Lized".

TimeOut has got a good point. I too have owned Hyundais in the past and they have all been rock solid. That being said, I love my 328, but the new Genesis looks amazing and has the technology to match. It definitely looks better than the current generation 5 series.
