Early Car?

New member here, just bought my 2006 M Roadster last week. I've seen this information in a couple of places showing the LY52000 as the first M Roadster. My VIN is LY52020 so it looks like it would be the 21st car built. That should certainly make it a collector's item.

I'm loving the car by the way, looking forward to doing some canyon drives next weekend.

LE89000 was the first. So your car is 1021.

I have LY54023. Build date of August 2008. I'd be curious what the LAST M Roadster (or Z4MC) VIN is.

And RealOEM only has programmed into their search to go through LY53961 (and they show a build date of June 08 for that VIN).

NA Z4 M Roadsters

NA Z4 M Roadster numbers

2006
6LE89000 > 6LE89999 = 1000
6LY52000> 6LY52901 = 902 Total 2006 = 1902

2007
7LY52902 > 7LY52999 = 98
7LY53000 > 7LY53689 = 690 Total 2007 = 788

2008
8LY53690 > 7LY53999 = 310
8LY54000 > LY54023 = 24 Total 2008 = 334

Total NA = 3024

Searched RealOEM.com for LYxxxxx and the last one they have is LY54041. How accurate is RealOEM with the serial numbers?
