Dinan Front Swaybar and F/R braces
Has anyone here installed a Dinan front swaybar? I remember reading in the past that it is a painful event. I recently installed a Dinan rear swaybar that took all of 15 minutes. Is the front really that labor intensive to install?
Sidenote: I have a 03 540i/6 that would creak and groan whenever going over bumps or taking the occasional sliding turn. After the install of a front strut tower brace and rear shock tower brace these noises have subsided significantly. Anyone here notice the same thing? Maybe I got everything reinstalled in just the right place?

Any front sway install on an E39 540i is a royal PITA!!
The 6-cylinders are easier. The install cost for my Eibach sways was ~$350 in labor. Some other shops won't even touch the job because it involves lifting the engine a bit, lowering the front subframe, or BOTH.Good to hear the stress bars tightened the already fairly stiff E39 frame to fix your creaking problem. |

$350 for an install? No way I'm into that kinda corn for something I can mess up myself
Guess I'll budget a full day to take a good look and do it. Thanks for the info
