Don't listen to those discouraging knuckleheads if you cannot get reservations in a hotel ventura is like 20 min. south and have plenty of hotels from scary crappy cheap to really nice and I doubt they will be busy...SB is a cool town though good luck on your journey |

Umm...dont know if I trust the steptronic tranny to get to cali and back but it would be awsome to get with a caravan!

If you are going to drive, add a few days and see Rocky Mountain National Park, right off 80, see Yellowstone and the Tetons. See Yosemite in Cali, on the way back, see the Grand Canyon, swing down and see New Orleans, come up the Smokies and see Nashville and Memphis.
If you're gonna go cross country, see the damn country. It is beautiful man.
