new 7'er

im not feeling the new design of the 7 series. maybe it'll grow on me?

Looks better than the old one. I first thought the grille was a bit overdone, but it's mellowed out on me. I feel like this is one model I can actually like again.........







I've already gotten the colours and wheels picked out

the interior is pretty nice..but the exterior..blah. the kidney grills look wayy too big...IMO. it might come around to me..but as for now, it doesnt.

I think it will be amazing, hope no electronic problems though

i heard the new iDrive is way better?? which would be great if they got it right.

this vehicle is gorgeous!

from what i hear, it is priced as much as a s550 benz, so i look forward to the deep MSRP discounts on this vehicle, ala the s550. The 08 s550s are being sold for 18-20k under msrp! talk about a steal!

The S class definitely has more flair than the new 7 Series. It's pretty good looking, but I feel BMW went the safe route after all the complaints about the previous gen.

If anyone is thinking about getting the new 7 series,be sure you've been a member of BMWCCA for 12 months prior to the purchase and then you might want to consider doing an ED for the very best value.Fall of '09 as a my 2010 is when the 750LI xdrive will be available.

The interior is amazing, IMO. The exterior, while they've cleaned it up a bit and made it look much more elegant, it is a bit too bland for my taste. I think the vehicle will do well with those seeking vehicles in this class, however; many tend to go for the more conservative look.

It looked like a well-balanced slightly bigger E39.

Couldn't get the iphone out quick enough to get a picture.

I guess it will look much better in person

I think a lot of the problems some folks are having lately with the exterior design of European cars has to do the European governments design requirements that are supposed to make the cars less likely to cause serious injury to pedestrians in a car-pedestrian impact. The new guidelines are resulting in much more "rounded" front ends.

well that is understandable. i guess i will just have to just get use to it.

Why does Bangle insist on trunk lids that look like they are from a different car? I don't understand why he can't have the tail lights on the fender align with the ones on the trunk lid. Is it just me? I loved my 2001 E38. Hated the styling of the 2004 E65, but loved the drive (and the reliability was better than the E38), and I feel the same about this 2007 E65. I just can't get excited by the styling any more. It's bad enough that I will drive Audi and Merc before the lease is up on this one next year. I saw a Black Audi S8 in Germany that was stunning.

Personally, I think it's sexy as hell! Inside and out. Great design. Very prestigious looking!
