335xi oil cooler - Bimmerfest

I am looking at a used 2007 335xi premium/winter pkg. I am a little worried that it does not come with oil cooler. How many of you had issues with high oil temp? And does BMW retrofit the oil cooler...if so what do I have to tell them to have one installed?

they will not install unless the car goes into overheat limp mode.

which is pretty much impossible to do unless you're tracking the car.
