Considering purchase of 328i. Need feedback

Hi, all. I really appreciate the information and feedback on this forum.

I've been test driving quite a few cars over the past few weeks. Any thoughts on the following 328i, including an average price I should be able to purchase it for?

2007 CPO 328i

I know what KBB and Edmunds indicate. Anything beyond that? Anything to watch out for or consider?

Thanks all. I hope to join you soon as a fellow owner.

Can't help you with the price.

Looks like a nice car.

It also looks like the original owner didn't buy the floor mats. (The carpet looks a bit worn and dirty in the footwells, front and back.) But it could just be the photos.

If the original owner didn't have floor mats, I'd be suspicious. What else was he too cheap to do?

But, in the end, this seems like a quibble.

The price doesn't seem tooo off --- especially for a CPO. Low mileage, too. Ask for a carfax or get one yourself and if they sold it new --- do they have service records? Pretty car, like the color.

I purchased a CPO 2007 328i with a premimum package. It had 12,500 miles, Monocco Blue with mats and it was under $26,000. The car is in perfect, prestine, condition, and I bought it about 2 months ago. You may be able to negotiate the price. What interest rate are they offering you? This is a very important factor to consider as well.

Good luck.

This one was actually owned by one of the dealership staff - single owner.

With the plastic covering the floor, I didn't really think to look that closely at it until you guys pointed it out. Thanks for the tip.

They do have a few other CPO's in stock. I just like the colors on this one.

I bought a well-loaded, late 2007 Alpine White CPO 328i sedan ( a BMW corporate vehicle) at the end of October (see signature) with 11,750 miles for $29,500. Got the BMWCCA $500 rebate 3 weeks later, so the vehicle cost me $29,000.

Very happy with the car. No problems.

The E90 sedan is the last in the line of great 4 door 3 Series BMW's. Too bad.

The color of the car you have selected is indeed very nice.

My 2007 CPO 328i had one owner, and I am very happy with my car as well. Ultimately, this is really what counts!

Good luck.

Thanks. Glad you like your car. Good color too! I don't see too many 3 Series like that.

They got me a bit high on the interest rate, 6.74% with BMWFS. I should have shopped around and got a bank loan commitment before hand. I'm sure I could have done better. What I have been doing is doubling the amount due every month. I will pay off the 36 months loan in half the time, saving myself quite a bit off the $1800 in interest charged over 36 months. I should have the title by next March.

May sound crazy, but I just wish that it had Sirius radio.

I'm probably going to drive it again tomorrow. Anything else I should double check?

Seems a bit high. Figure out Edmunds trade-in value and that's what you should pay for it.

Edmunds still shows the trade-in value at higher than my cost to buy the car.
