Car Cover owners

Hello all,

I use a BMA Noah car cover every day on my 335i coupe. I've heard that if it rains, you should definitely take it off so that the paint doesn't blister as the car dries in the sun the next day. My question is, what about for dry days? Does anyone feel it's best to take the cover off for a little while at least once a day? I live in Los Angeles, but even so, in the morning, it's cold enough that when I take the cover off to go to work, there's a little condensation on the windows and the roof. Would that moisture be anyting to be concerned with or do you feel it's safe to leave it on for over 24 straight hours?

Thanks all,
Rob

Just out of curiosity, can one imply your car sits outside 24/7 without you driving it at times? In that case, why not store it properly in a garage without a cover?

There is a guy next to our office that has an Aston Martin and he puts a cover on when he parks it and I can see that being effective but having the cover on at all times sounds to me like it should be stored.

I drive it every day to work, but sometimes, on weekends, it might not be driven at all. We'll drive my wife's Mini-Cooper Clubman.

I sometimes park it in the garage, but we have a detached garage in the back, and a very narrow driveway to get to it. I do it sometimes but not all the time for fear that I'll back into the house!

Only use mine when it snows. Rest of the time, car is in the driveway. Probably not really a best practice though.

I can only see using a cover if you're forced to park somewhere with lots of dripping sap or bird ****. Otherwise, it seems like you'd be at risk of scratching the car every time you take it on or off.
