Interior Light Sizes?????????????
hey guys looking to replace all of my interior lights with leds.......need to know what all of the sizes of the interior bulbs are. done alot of searching and still yet to find this information would be truly greatful if anybody would happen to know this elusive information!!!!

it looks as if that thread gives the bulb sizes for a e34?????? not sure if its the same sizes for the e39. anyone happen to know the dimensions for all of the interior bulbs?

All festoons are 39mm, but not all the bulbs are festoons. Like in the two rear courtesy lights and the front center overhead...they are festoon in the center and the spots are some other weird bulb. Trunk, license plate, door sills, and center front are all festoons 39MM in length. A 36MM bulb can be made to fit If you get 7 festoons you will be able to replace all but the license plate- only use excellent quality for any exposed exterior as they will throw code.
