2004 x5??

I've heard from the local BMW dealership that the facelift on the x5 will be very similar to the 2004 x3. Attached are pictures of both. Enjoy!

I've never heard anything about an X7, but that's not a bad idea. Why let Range Rover and the G500 keep the mucho lux SAV/SUV market?

Differences between the first two pics:

-Hood rake at the headlights is different.
-Fog light placement different.
-First pic has less plastic up front (typically equates to more expensive).
-Side mirrors different.
-Side markers in different location.
-Top car has vents on trailing edge of hood.
-Bottom car has side body treatment reminiscent to current X5, top car has less shape more like the E65/E85.
-Top car appears to be longer.
-'W' shape in headlights more pronounced in bottom car.
-Grill on top car bulges out more than bottom car (pregnant look)
-Top car has longer hood.
-Roundels up front are placed inconsistantly.

I would say they are intended to be different models (X5/X7). I would also say they were probably both created in Photoshop (note odd shadows, inconsistant pixelation, familiar driver in the 'X7', etc.).

Here's a nice link http://www.cybermoo.net/bmw/x.htm

By the way we are all trying to figure out the pics but why don't we just look at the license pltes they say everything the first one is an X7 (M X7700) and the second one is an X3 (M X3300) and of course the third one is the SAV that BMW is working on.

You have it wrong on that third pic. It's not an SAV BMW is working on............ it's an SAV BMW is destroying.

That link is years old. That pickup has been killed. BMW doesn't own Range rover anymore. It's a useless link.
