Lateral Vibration (335)
I have a 2009 335i vert and upon a start I notice lateral vibration (sideways) for about a minute or so on a stand still. I don't feel it if the car is driven for 10 mins or so.
This vibration is not contineous, may be like once in 4 - 5 seconds. Is that normal. Engine sounds normal and there is no lag in starting the car and no warning lights, so I hope it's not a fuel pump issue. Even the System check shows everything is 'OK'. Is this normal? |

i don;t get any vibrations in mine, but the engine does sound 'weird'/rough for a few seconds until it warms up, then it quiets down. how r u liking your vert besides this issue? i'm loving mine!!

Yeh I am enjoying it. California whether is really nice for a top down drive. I will keep a check on this vibration, if it doesn't go away I will show it to a mechanic. It only happens after starting the car when the Engine is cold, and goes away in about 2 minutes.

I took my car to the servicing dept and they confirmed that lateral vibration is normal for a 335 engine for a minute or so.
