Purchase Advice: 2000 M Rdstr, Dinan
I'm considering buying this supercharged M Roadster:
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/ctd/1238830112.html - Any advice on price? - Also, any maintenance issues because of the supercharger and Dinan kit? I've owned a Z3 in the past, so I know about all the standard issues. Yet I do need to learn a little bit more about the S52 engine... |

If the car is clean, that's a great price. I would want to have a certified BMW mechanic look it over first, to make sure it hasn't been hooned to death. Dinan stuff, after-market wheels means it has probably been tracked. The S52 is pretty much bullet proof, if it has been properly maintained. FYI, assertions about keyless entry and tilt wheel are probably not accurate, since they weren't available in 2000.
