Do spacers = a dirty car and damaged paint ?
Hey guys I know alot of you have spacers .....
How is it working out ? I would think that you could end up with a dirty car and damaged paint ??? Anyone with 128's ? What size spacers are you running ? Lowered or not lowered ? Thanks |

I'm running 12mm front and 15mm rear with no issue on oem 128'. Lowered on stock sport package. Makes the car looks alot wider. Hope that help.

Can someone post us pictures of before and after shots of the 7series with spaces and without spaces so I can see the comparison.

STOCK 21", H&R SPORT SPRINGS, H&R SPACERS 15mm Front, 25mm Rear
do not make car more dirty, have not noticed any chipping of paint or panels, i do have a very subtle shimmy @ higher speeds but could be due to the fact the car is lowered, on 21", or a combo of both. Have not noticed it getting worse, so i would say this is a safe product. sorry i don't have any before pics since this was a impulse mod for me (shop happened to have in stock and i had the time to get them put on). but i do have some pretty good after shots.
good: looks sick! bad: car does rub very very slightly when going over really big ridges or humps in the road. keep in mind my rear fenders have been trimmed out about 5mm and it still rubs ONLY when there are 2+ people in the car. overall, i think it is a very very nice look! well worth it! i would recommend you get 15mm in front, 20mm in rear. |

I replaced my control arms (all 4 of them) this past winter thanks to the potholes in Chicago - and recently I put the 128s back on and my shimmy is gone. I had the shimmy last summer with the 128s with my original control arms. Good Luck.

I have 11" rears and still do not have more dirt and/or scratches than I did with the stock 19's.
