How to make black taillights ???

Anyone on here tinted their taillights black? Want to do that but dont know exactly how. The windows tinting place told me they cant do it with their film because it wont stick or last long, so do i need to paint them or what? Has anyone done it for any car atleast, doent have to be exactly the 7 series.

no problem the have the best film its allot thicker and can be removed if you want down the road. Do not tinit the clear part of the lens IMO it look much better only tiniting the red part.

do they have a light tint for the tails?

i am not a fan of tinted tails but hey its only a film and can be removed any time so who cares if it doesnt look good i will take it off

I tinted windows on every car i ever owed. 5% was the darkest, which means only 5% of sun light gets inside your car. Then they had 15%(not legal) and 35% which is legal here in TN. On that website, for some reason it looks like they have 35% as the dark smoke and 15% as light. I dont wanna make a mistake buyin it because i want it as black as it gets. And yes I was gonna leave the white part not tinted.
