$1750 lease offer on X5

Anyone know if the current $1750 lease offer on the '09 X5 is a manufacturer-to-dealer incentive? BMW web site says: Monthly payment also includes a $1,750 lease cash offer being made by BMW of North America, LLC. Lease cash is applied to lease contract in the form of capitalized cost reduction . . .

But if the offer is coming from BMWNA, it doesn't sound like capitalized cost reduction. Sounds like dealers are getting that same break, which means it can be part of any deal.

Thinking about picking up an '09 X5 if I can get a deal.

not sure how else to read it; thats coming from the horses mouth, aka BMW who is providing both the terms (AS CCR) and the money. i really dont think they're going to let you apply lease cash to a non lease or something else....
BMW FS is funding the CCR. it is a true CCR, in that depending on state, you pay sales tax as if you were putting it down. or in this case, the CCR is reduced by the amount of tax on it.

Its pretty simple - Lease an X5 get an additional $1750 from BMW FS as cap reduction.

Pay for it any other way, do not get the additional $1750.
