Inspection II DIY for 'everything else'

So we've all seen countless threads talking about Inspection II and how all they really do is change your air filter, etc. We also have great DIY guides for every legitimate item in Inspection II that should be done.

Beyond those, I've seen countless threads of people (including the famous bimmerforums thread made famous by smolck) who get all concerned with the word 'check' that is listed in 90% of all the Inspection II tasks: http://www.bimmerzone.com/inspection.htm

Got my BavAuto fast times today and realized over three issues last/this year they covered the entire car inspection with guides and pictures to show every novice how to properly inspect their car. So all the people who are so concerned with Inspection II and not having a 'professional' inspect everything up and down, here are some helpful guides on how to DIY and what to look for. Power to the people!

Guide 1: Under the Hood Insepction (see attachment)
Guide 2: Under the Car - Front Inspection (see attachment)
Guide 3: Under the Car - Rear Inspection (see attachment)

Also let it be known that some of the info. here and there is redundant based on other DIY out there, and also that there are DIY guides for almost every one of these inspection points if you do happen to see something that looks faulty. Enjoy!

We should also throw in a plug for Bavarian Autosport now since they put the guides together. They sell solid products and have great customer service. Check them out at http://www.bavauto.com/

Based on my experience, I'd bet either ball joints/control arms or sway bar end links. Unless, you've thoroughly checked those two items out, don't start buying shocks or CVJs

*shrug* it doesn't really cause me any problems other then an annoying sound sometimes.
I'll replace it when it actually is broken probably.
